Loan Repayment

Postby HBeth » Sun Apr 02, 2006 4:15 pm

Hello, I located three sources of loan repayment. (1) National Defense Education Act and (2)ChildCare Provider Loan Cancellation, and (3) Teacher Loan Cancellation ...These would be used in NC. Anyone familiar with these? Thank you. HBeth aka Hille

Hille;

This is a small bit of info concerning the National Defense Education Act. It largely applies to partial loan forgiveness for military service or teaching.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply. I cannot get to the ultimate link for canceling the loan for full time teachers. If you can post the link I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again. Have a good holiday. Hille
Thanks .

The American Federation of Teachers maintains a list of forgiveness programs.
