Poverty of Postmodernism: brilliant book

The Canadian political philosopher John O'Neill has a great book out. I mentioned this on a theological thread, but the book--not a theological book--deserves a recommendation here, and that right strongly. O'Neill is a Marxist, and I am a reactionary of the deepest dye, but the book is brilliant and liberating, water in the desert to a free mind and a kick in the teeth to slaves to academic fashion (or is it fascion?). Postmods and decons beware: O'Neill says fouc off to ault of you.

I adjure you to read this with all the force I can muster.

Poverty of Postmodernism. Author: John O'Neill. Routledge 1995. ISBN: 978-0-415-11687-9 ( paperback) 978-0-415-11686-2 (hardback) 978-0-203-42966-2 (electronic)
