NEW! Online LL.M. tax from Denver University

also the Master of Science in Taxation which, at DU, is exactly the same degree.

All of this for ONLY $30,000.

Well, the program is nationally known and I have no doubt that it will prove popular with tax associates in mid-law firms throughout the Mountain West and maybe beyond. It is no more expensive than any other online LL.M. tax from an ABA approved school and in some cases, such as NYU, it is cheaper.

You dumped Norma Desmond???

Better be careful . . . As Norma said, "Nobody ever leaves a star!" Not to mention what happened after that.

According to the admissions page, ABA grads only. Interestingly, no need for bar admission.

I guess they have no room for a non-ABA JD with a law license, even if one wanted to pony up the bucks.

No. If you really want to do this, cb, send in your app. I guarantee that UD will consider it very carefully no matter what their web site says.

Too pricey for me, especially since tax is only a mild interest.

Besides, I seem to destroy DL law programs.

BAU closed shortly after I graduated.

Boston U no longer offers their DL certificate course in legislative drafting. I was in the last class.

Regent's DL LL.M. went away shortly after I merely inquired.

I don't want to jinx DU.

Personally, I think DU's MST/LLM is too pricey for anyone period. I think that ALL LL.M. tax programs from ABA schools except maybe the Universities of Florida, Alabama and Washington are too expensive and even these cost a lot for a degree that might not sell as well as you'd like. That's one very big reason why I went with Taft.

Athabasca University has a solid diploma, targeted to common-law jurisdictions generally.
