About MIB?

Postby donnawhite » Mon Dec 10, 2012 7:18 am

I want to know about MIB (Masters in International Business) degree in India.
Please tell which institutes providing this degree (please suggest best ones) and what are the career options after degree completion?

For MIB, try NYPD. Apparently, the service academies are out.

I see no serious replies have ensued.

Perhaps this is too narrow a topic for this board. I'd recommend doing some online research instead.

This page says it lists all the MIB degrees available in India: http://www.studyguideindia.com/Courses/ ... -B-Courses

I doubt many of our readers could tell you which schools could be called the "best." The one test an Indian school must pass, for its degrees to be credible, is full approval by the UGC (University Grants Commission.) As long as the school you are interested in has that status, its degrees should be well-received.

We have at least one knowledgeable Indian poster - his forum-name is msganti. Perhaps you could send msganti a private message and he might very well know which of the schools could be considered among the "best."

I wish you every success.

Sorry for chipping in late.

Almost every university in India offers either a MIB or variations of it (PG Diploma in Foreign Trade etc). But the best of the best are IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) and IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade). A simple googling with these names will provide links to their websites.

Competition is fierce, and admission is tough. Prospects? Most big companies will do campus recruitment with good salaries.

Two AACSB accredited: Uncertain as to whether or not either offers the M.I.B. specifically or DL; however, a derivative of the M.I.B. is likely available.
